Srinagar/Sept,5:Police on Wednesday said that a brief exchange of fire took place Wednesday between militants and government forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir.
A police official said militants opened fire on a patrol party of government forces at Haji Darpora in Pulwama, a police official said.
Government forces retaliated, leading to brief exchange of fire between the two sides, he said, adding there were no casualties.
