Baramulla : A youth identified as Mehraj ud din Tali s/o Ab Majeed Teli R/o Khaipora Bala Tangmarg is missing since 24th of August.
Missing report filed in Police station Tangmarg
Family of the missing youth said “ we have no information about the whereabouts of Mehraj ud din till today”.The family members and releatives of Mehraj Monday this week protested at Khaipora Bala against the failure of police in tracing the missing youth.
Family of the missing youth had on Saturday last week also staged a massive protest alongwith residents of other adjoining villages and tried to march towards Tangmarg but the police did not allowed them to march towards Tangmarg. The police had dispersed the protestors .
The Family was demanding swift and stern action in tracing the missing youth. They appealed higher authorities to intervene. SHO Tangmarg Sadat Hussain assured people of proper investigation .When contacted SHO Tangmarg Sadat Hussain told Kashmir Horizon “We have recieved missing report of Mehraj ud din Teli on 26th of August 2018 and we started investigations immediately. We have also registered case under FIR 7/2018 in this regard”.
