Tarigami in this afternoon reached Delhi to attend the hearing on Article 35-A in Supreme Court on Friday.
Soon after reaching Delhi, Tarigami drove straight to Jantar Mantar to participate in the protest march called against the arrest of Civil Rights activists that include civil rights activist and writer P Varavara Rao (Hyderabad), lawyer Vernon Gonsalves (Mumbai), human rights activist-lawyer Arun Ferreira (Thane), activist-lawyer Sudha Bharadwaj (Faridabad) and human rights activist Gautam Navlakha (Delhi).
The protest march was organized by Jan Ekta Jan Adhikar Andholan (JEJAA) in which several prominent leaders, rights activists from different states participated.
The participants including Tarigami demanded immediate release of the Civil Rights activists who were arrested two day ago.
They said that all those arrested must be released at an earliest. (KNS)
