Srinagar: Restrictions will be imposed in parts of Srinagar tomorrow and day after in view of two-day shutdown call issued by the Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL).
An official in the district administration said the restrictions will be imposed in areas falling under the jurisdiction of seven police stations – Maharaj Gunj, Khanyar, Rainawari, Nowhatta, Safa Kadal, Maisuma and Kral Khud, KNS news agency reported. Partial restrictions will be imposed in areas falling under the jurisdiction of Maisuma and Kralkhud police stations.
JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik has called for a two-day strike starting from Aug 30 in wake of the hearing of Article 35-A in the Supreme Court.
