Srinagar: Haji Syed Hamidullah Bukhari, maternal uncle of senior journalist and editor-in-chief of The Kashmir Horizon newspaper, Shafqat Bukhari passed away on Monday at his residence at Kreeri area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Haji Syed Hamidullah Bukhari, 95 died after a brief illness at his home today.
His Rasm-e-Chahrum will be observed on Thursday at his ancestral graveyard in Kreeri area.
Kashmir News Service (KNS) management headed by Editor-in-Chief Muhammad Aslam Bhat expressed grief over the demise of Bukhari’s maternal uncle and prayed for the eternal peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, various social, political and religious organizations expressed grief over his demise and conveyed their heartfelt condolence to Shafqat Bukhari. (KNS)
