Farooq Abdullah the three time former Jammu & Kashmir is by the dint of his actions showing that he is bereft of religious ideology. After condemning people for shouting pro-freedom slogans at Dargah Hazratbal Srinagar to protest his shouts“ Bharat Mata Ki Jai” at the BJP conclave called to tribute former Prime Minister Attal Bihari Vajpayee on his demise Farooq Abdullah chanted slogans “Mata Ka Bulawa Aiya Hai” during Chari Yatra to Vaishno devi temple in Jammu just to endorse the general public view that he is bereft of religious ideologies. Having the belief that trespassing religious ideologies can always bring him and his party National Conference to power with the clout of ruling regimes in Delhi Farooq Abdullah tends to show that he is bereft of religious ideologies only for propagating secularism which he claims is part of political ideology. No individual or group can prefer politics over religion in any part of the world and same holds good for the likes of Farooq Abdullah but people in all parts of the world prefer religion over politics and Farooq Abdullah is probably one such person who tends to prefer politics over religion in the only muslim majority state of a hindu dominated country like India . Farooq Abdullah could become chief minister of muslim majority Jammu & Kashmir state only because of muslim religious.

The likes of Farooq Abdullah tending to be one among few of them in India who bereft of religious ideologies can’t be acceptable to the people in Kashmir whose religious conviction is over and above all political ideologes.

It is easy to change political ideologies overnight for every tom, dick and harry for pelf and power but it is not easy to change religious ideologies overnight particularly in the only muslim majority state of a hindu dominated country just for pelf and power. Farooq Abdullah must not forget that inter-religious marriages of his daughters and the only son Omar Abdullah is one of the bigger causes of steep decline in the popularity of entire Abdullah dynasty and National Conference. So the likes of Farooq Abdullah tending to be one among few of them in India who bereft of religious ideologies can’t be acceptable to the people in Kashmir whose religious conviction is over and above all political ideologies.
