Baramulla : The Army on Sunday killed a militant on the Line of Control (LoC) in Baramulla, just a day after three militants were killed near the LoC in Kupwara.
The Srinagar-based defence spokesperson Lt. Col. Rajesh Kalia said the infiltration bid was foiled at Kasturi Naar in Baramulla. The identity of the slain militant could not be ascertained immediately, a police official said.
The police on Saturday night arrested around 10 youth at Sopore in Baramulla.
“The arrested were involved in protests and stone-throwing incidents,” the police said. The arrests were made during a search operation launched in the night.
