Srinagar: A 40 year Islamic preacher was on Friday afternoon held with drugs in Pattan township of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Police officialswere said an Islamic preacher identified as Mushtaq Ahmed Mian @DC son of Late Ghulam Hassan Mian resident of Pattan was Friday afternoon arrested with consignment of fukki in Pattan area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district
Officials said that a case FIR number 168/2018 U/S 8/22 NDPS has been registered against him and further investigation has been taken up.
Meanwhile locals of the area appreciated Baramulla Police for action against drug peddlers and assured police their full support in eradicating the drug menace.
