Pulwama /August 18 :A Jammu and Kashmir Police Constable was Saturday morning critically injured after some youth peted stones on a Police Vehicle near Bona Muran in Pulwama district
Witnessed said a police party headed by Dy SP ( Headquarters ) Pulwama along with SHO Pulwama was heading towards Muran after receiving inputs that a Vehicle with Fukki is in the village .As soon as the Police Vehicle reached Bona Muran , some youth pelted stones on it. A stone hit the driver of the Police Vehicle on head and he was critically injured. However the injured but driver managed to drive the vehicle to a safer place to and resultantly other cops including DySP and SHO escaped unhurt.
Police Fired few tear smoke shells to disperse the Stone pelters.The injured cop identified as Shahanshah has been taken to district hospital Pulwama for treatment.
