Sopore /Aug, 15 : Police in Sopore on Thursday claimed to have arrested three drug peddlers in Batpora area of Sopore town in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district and registered a case.
A statement issued by police on Thursday said that on receiving information about the presence of drug peddlers in Batpora area of Sopore a police team led by SHO Sopore laid a nakas at the Batpora road crossing and arrested three suspects from whom 31 bottles of SYSCODINE, ONEREX and 104 Capsules of SPASMOPROXVYON PLUS. The accused were identified as:
01. Aamir Akbar Mir S/O Mohammad Akbar Mir R/O Mumkak Sopore.
02. Taufeeq Ahmad Lone S/O Ghulam Mohammad Lone R/O Khamvyar Pattan.
03. Tauqeed Ahmad S/O Abdul Jabbar Rather R/O Khamvyar Pattan. All three accused were arrested on spot and a Case FIR No. 227/2018 U/S 8/22 NDPS Act was registered and investigations are on
