Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former Secretary J&K State Sports Council Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra escaped unhurt when he was attacked by unidentified gunmen in central Kashmir district of Budgam.
Official sources said bullet-proof vehicle of Parra was attacked by bike-borne gunmen at around 1930 hrs on Monday near Chadoora in Budgam. “The bullet reportedly hit the vehicle, but Parra escaped unhurt,” they said.
They said the PDP leader was returning from a condolence meeting when the attack took place.
