Mansbal park blast mastermind arrested: Kashmir Police

Srinagar: Police on Friday claimed to have arrested another accused allegedly involved in June 17 Mansbal park blast.
A police spokesperson said the accused was absconding after the blast. “Ganderbal police apprehended an absconder identified as Mohammad Imran sofi son of Abdul Majeed Sofi resident of Kondabal Safapora Ganderbal who was involved in case FIR number 20/2018 related to Explosive blast at Manasbal Park,” said a police statement.
Thirteen local visitors, including minors and students, were injured in the blast.The spokesperson said that the investigation suggested that the accused had masterminded the blast. “Besides, the accused is also a chronic stone pelter. He is involved in instigating the youth of the area to resort to stone pelting,” he said. The accused has been detained for further investigation, he added.
