Reasi: A deputation of J&K Kissan Tehreek Thursday met Additional Deputy Commissioner Babu Ram and projected its demands. The group was headed by Master Sohan Lal Sharma.
The group presented a memorandum of demands and sought establishment of crop procurement centres, coverage of all crops under Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, grant of fixed pension to poor and marginalized farmers, implementation of both- Dr Swami Nathan Commission report and the Forest Right Act among others. The ADC assured prompt action under his capacity.
