Srinagar: An awareness program under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) was on Saturday conducted at National Institute of Technology Hazratbal Srinagar.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar (Electoral Registration Officer Zadibal Constituency) Purnima Mittal, Nodal officer SVEEP also Deputy Director Tourism Waseem Raja, Tehsildar Zadibal, booth level officers (BLOs) of Haztatbal and Zadibal assembly constituencies and other officials attended the program.
The gathering was addressed by Purnima Mittal, Waseem Raja and others. The officers stressed upon the BLOs to ensure that no person in the voting age is left unregistered which is the purpose of the awareness program.
