Shopian /Aug, 3: A Jammu and Kashmir Police said on Friday that suspected militants on Friday barged inside a branch of Jammu and Kashmir Bank in South Kashmir’s Shopian district and looted some cash from there.
A statement issued by Jammu and Kashmir Police said ” militants Friday afternoon barged inside a JK Bank branch in Kapran area of District Shopian and looted some cash. The They also snatched a 12 bore rifle from the private security guard employed at the branch’.
Police claimed to have taken cognizance of the matter and said ‘investigation in the instant matter has been initiated’.
