The sources have also dispelled the accusation of ‘Delhi inciting rebellion in PDP’ and said that New Delhi doesn’t need to do that. The BJP sources suggested PDP to “set its house in order”.
“We know PDP is spreading stories and trying to create an impression that New Delhi is inciting rebellion. We don’t need to do that. They need to put their house in order” BJP sources told KNS.
The BJP sources also rejected the stories of entering into any sort of agreement with PDP on the condition of some other leaders heading the government, saying “They (PDP) are spreading rumors about its two leaders emerging as ‘preferred choice’ of BJP” but how is it possible that we will align with them,” they told KNS, adding that ‘one of the leaders belong to the bygone era and the other has a tiny political constituency.” The sources in the BJP claimed that ‘these leaders’ were actually attempting to ‘steal the party from the party president ‘, thus spreading lies so as to lead the legislature leader of the PDP. The BJP sources however said that ‘they are free to do so, but BJP has nothing to do with them.” (KNS)
