Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Tuesday suspended five teachers, including a head master, of a government school for remaining unauthorised absence from duty in the Ganderbal district, official sources said.
They said Chief Education Officer (CEO), Ganderbal, Sheikh Gayaz uddin today conducted surprise visit to Government Middle School, Kangan. During the visit five teachers, including a headmaster were found absent.
The CEO placed all the absentees under suspension and ordered inquiry against them. Those who were suspended included headmaster Firdous Ahmad Shah, teacher Riyaz Ahmad, Bashir ahmad, Shabir Ahmad and Sheikh Mohammad Ashraf.
