Srinagar: The cross Loc trade between divided parts of Jammu and Kashmir resumed on Tuesday on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad road after a long gap of two weeks.
According to KNS correspondent, Nadeem Khawaja said that the truck loads of goods moved from Uri to Muzaffarabad and Muzaffarabad to Uri.
When contacted Sub District Magistrate (SDM) Uri, Baseer-ul-Haq Choudhary, he said, “32 truckloads of goods moved from Uri to Muzaffarabad and nine truck loads moved from Muzaffarabad and reached Uri Salamabad Tuesday afternoon.”
He said that the cross LoC trade was suspended in view of the general elections in Pakistan. (KNS)
