Pulwama /July, 28: Suspected militants during the night intervening Friday and Saturday abducted a Special Police Officer (SPO) from his home in Tral area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district , said a police official on Saturday.
He said that Mudasir Ahmad Lone, a resident of Chankatar village of Tral was abducted from his home by three militants during the night.
Lone, he said, is posted at police post Reshipora Awantipora where he works as a cook.
A top police official said the “SPO is missing since Friday night and we have launched massive manhunt to trace him.”
