Srinagar: Six personnel of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) were injured, one of them critically, in a militant hand grenade attack in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said.
They told UNI that militants hurled a hand grenade towards a CRPF patrol party at Jawbhara, Awantipora in Pulwama district this evening. Six CRPF personnel were injured in the attack, they said.
The injured were rushed to hospital where the condition of one of them is stated to be critical, they said adding the area was immediately cordoned off and a massive operation has been launched to nab the militants responsible for the attack.
