Srinagar: Police on Wednesday claimed to have brought back two youth to their homes from north Kashmir’s Kupwara adding that they were planning to join militancy
Reports said the youth had gone missing two days ago. However, the parents of the youth did not lodge any missing report.
“We have brought them back from Tral in South Kashmir,” a police official claimed.
Confirming it, DySP operations Fayaz Geelani said that the police started to trace out the two youth who were missing from Kupwara.
Geelani said that “our reliable sources suggest that the duo had intentions of joining militant ranks.”
“After proper counseling both the youth were handed over to their parents,” he said.
