Srinagar: A court here Wednesday granted NC president Farooq Abdullah exemption from personal appearance in connection with a case regarding the multi-crore scam in the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association.
Chief Judicial Magistrate, Srinagar, granted the former chief minister exemption from personal appearance in the case after Abdullah gave a personal bond of Rs 50,000, the party’s provincial president, Kashmir, Nasir Aslam Wani said.
Wani gave surety of an equal amount for the National Conference (NC) president.
The next hearing of the case is on August 29.
