Srinagar: Burglars truck a residential house at Eidgah Srinagar area on the City outskirts on Sunday night and decamped with gold and cash worth lakhs of rupees. Reports said the burglars broke into the house of Muzafar Ahmed Mir at Iqbal Colony Eidgah and decamped with gold, Pashmina Shawls and cash. The burglars sneaked into the house during late Sunday night in absence of family members who had gone to attend a marriage ceremony.
An official from Safakadal police station said that a forensic team was called to collect samples. “We have registered a case,” he said.
