Srinagar: Jammu Kashmir Police have refuted the claims made by a New Delhi based news channel that there was an attack on local police in Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
News Channel ‘India Today’ Thursday afternoon claimed that Jammu Kashmir Police was attacked in Bijbehara. This is not for the first time any Indian news channel’s report has been refuted. In past as well, many such news channels have come into question for their wrong and ‘biased’ reporting.
“The new item on national channel India Today about attack on police at Bijbehara is incorrect and refuted,” Kashmir Police Zone tweeted.
