Jammu: Director Agriculture Jammu, H. K. Razdan inaugurated renovated buildings of the Joint Director of Agriculture Extension and Divisional Soil Survey Officer, Jammu, here Saturday.
The renovation and repairs work was carried out and completed in short span of time by the Estate Wing (ASCO, I&P) of the Directorate of Agriculture, Jammu.
Director Agriculture on the occasion appreciated the efforts of A. H. Salaria, ASCO, (I&P), I/C Estate officer and Sandeep Dogra, SCA (I&P) for their efforts in renovation/repair works besides carrying out afresh plantation and cleanliness drive in the Krishi Bhawan and offices located in the Agriculture Complex.
He also inspected the other works being carried out in the Directorate and subordinate sections like plantation in the complex, cleaning of dumping yard behind canteen, up-gradation works at Spawn/Mushroom Production Units and removal of Parthenium grass.
He also directed the officers to ensure maintenance of hygiene and cleanliness within and outside office buildings and removal of weeds and grasses in the vicinity and along the pathways/roads. He asked the Section Heads to install dustbins and containers for rough papers in respective offices.
