Srinagar: Police on Sunday arrested Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Mohammad Yaseen Malik along with two other associates in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said.
They said Malik, who was released on July 14 after being detained for 10 days, was arrested on Sunday again when he was on way to Srinagar from south Kashmir, where he had gone to express condolences to some bereaved families.
A spokesman of the front said police intercepted the vehicle of Malik at Sangam. Later Malik and vice chairman Mushtaq Ajmal and zonal organisor Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri were taken into custody. They were later lodged in police station Sangam.
