Though the fact can’t be disputed the popular governments take policy decision with application of mind after taking board the elected representative and other stake holders but immediately after the imposition of governor’s rule the advisor to Governor Khursheed Ahmed Ganai ordered the detachment of teachers deployed in schools across Kashmir on health, marriage, security and subject specification grounds. Knowing that Governor N N Vohra has ordered cancellation of the attachment which meant the repatriation of such official to parent places of posting who were attached for personal reasons by the previous government but unfortunately the advisor to governor Khursheed Ahmed Ganai was obviously ill advised by some top officials of the school education department over the issue of deployment of teachers and he without asking the directorates of Kashmir and Jammu divisions for a factual position over the deployment order the detached of deployed teachers. Since the teachers deployed on health grounds are asked to submit the medical certificates of the medical boards of concerned district hospital , teachers deployed on marriage grounds are obliged to product marriage documents and the post-marriage state subject certificate, the teachers deployed on security ground are recommended for deployment by the police department and those deployed on subject specification grounds are recommended by the concerned Chief Education officers, the issue of detachments had to be discussed with the concerned chief education officers to get first hand information about the necessity of the deployments of teachers before issuing any order on detachments. Unfortunately the chief education officers were called for a discussion over the detachments only after deployed teachers were relieved from dozens of schools across and the academic chaos hit the working of almost all the schools in the state.

Refutal statements by secretary school education department won’t work but an order from the department to directed the chief education officers to allow the teachers relieved in haste to go back to schools here they were deployed can end the academic chaos in government schools.

Now government is refuting the reports about the disruption of academic activities in the schools despite the fact that dozen of teachers have been repatriated to their original places of posting and chief education officers in many districts are not allowing them to go back to schools where they were deployed. Administrative wisdom demands that advisor to Governor admonishes those who advised him to take a miscalculated decision which has created academic chaos in government schools. The academic chaos in government schools is still continuing and will continue till the chief officers allow the teachers relieved in haste to go back to schools here they were deployed. Refutal statements by secretary school education department won’t work but an order from the department to directed the chief education officers to allow the teachers relieved in haste to go back to schools here they were deployed can end the academic chaos in government schools.
