Srinagar: J&K Bank Wednesday signed multiple agreements with Kashmir University in presence of Chairman and CEO Parvez Ahmed and Vice Chancellor Kashmir University Professor Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi. Dean Academic Affairs Professor Musadiq Amin Suhaf, Dean Research Professor Zafar Ahmad Reshi, and Dean Colleges Development Council Doctor Nelofar Khan, Bank’s Executive Presidents P K Tickoo, Rajesh Kumar Chhibber, Presidents, Zonal Head Kashmir Central, Vice Presidents, senior faculty members of KU besides administration officials and officers of the bank were also present on the occasion.
Registrar KU Professor Khurshid Ahmad Bhat signed both the Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of the University while as President Abdul Rashid Shegan put in his signatures representing the J&K Bank.
The first agreement was regarding the establishment of a building owned by the Bank housing its Business Unit along with a Digital Lounge within the university campus.
As per the second agreement, the University bestowed the bank with the Most Preferred Banker status for its all banking related services exclusively. According to the agreement the Bank also conferred the most favoured client status to the Kashmir University which entitles its employees to avail an array of special benefits and privileges including the bank’s unique product ‘Phone pe Loan’ wherein the client shall be entitled to a loan within just two hours of the call.
Notably, the bank has been revolutionizing the service delivery through its digital products and through Phone pe Loan offers quick Loan facility to special clients with least processing time and most importantly doing away with the in-person visit to Business Unit for any documentation. The purpose of the product is to meet any pressing financial requirement of the employees at a click of the button.
