Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Police on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a teacher for allegedly indulging in drug peddling.
“On 09-07-2018 late night hours, Kupwara police arrested one Government teacher namely Mushtaq Ahmad Lone son of Abdul Khaliq Lone resident of Thaiyan Kalaroos along with 21 kilograms of banned herbs (sheath kharr) at Boobi Top Budnambal,” said a spokesman. He said a case FIR No 53/2018 under section 379 RPC, 6 Forest Act has been registered at Police Station Kralpora and further investigation is going on.
