Srinagar: Two Amarnath pilgrims on way to Pahlagam died in a road accident while 6 others injured when their speedy vehicle hit a concrete wall at Lower Munda area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
A police official said a vehicle from Punjab (PB08/DF0487) met with an accident when the driver lost control over it and collided with a concrete wall. The accident occurred at Lower Munda.
The official said that 8 Yatris were on board who were all injured out of which later two succumbed to their injuries. The deceased have been identified as Garav Brad and Vinod Kumar, both residents of Ludhiana.
The injured who have been undergoing treatment were identified as Ravinder Kumar, Satiyam Kumar, Kavinder Singh, Rajesh Kumar, all residents of Ludhiana, Sukhwinder Singh of Patiala and Ashu Talwar, a resident of Karnal Haryana.
