Srinagar: Security forces detected and defused an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) planted by militants in south Kashmir district of Pulwama.
Official sources said that an IED was detected by a patrolling party at Nowpora in Pulwama on Sunday evening.
“The road was closed and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was immediately summoned,” they said, adding that the IED was later defused without causing any damage.
