Jammu: An undertrial in murder case died of illness in district jail Rajouri on Friday, police sources here said.
They added that a senior official from jail on phone informed the police that one person namely Mohd Latief, (aged 45 to 50), son of Faqeer Mohammad, resident of Hartal Choudhary Nary was in district Jail Dhangri in murder case, complaining of certain health problem and was shifted to district hospital.
“He died in the hospital,” they added and said, “he was lodged in district jail under sections 302, 307, 452, 148, 336 of RPC at Darhal police station.”
