Srinagar/July, 3: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man on Tuesday foiled a weapon snatching attempt by three persons in Humhama area near the Srinagar airport, said an official.
He said that three persons tried to snatch weapon of a constable of B/35Bn Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at Humhama chowk by throwing chilli powder at him.
The “alert” sentry foiled the bid. He said the attackers managed to flee from the spot, the official claimed .
