Srinagar, Jun 29 : Governor N N Vohra has formally appointed Khurshid Ahmad Ganaie a retired IAS officer of the chief secretary rank as Advisor barely hours after he resigned as Chief Information Commissioner Thursday evening this week.
An order issued from the General Administration Department of the Jammu and Kashmir Government said “the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir is pleased to appoint Khurshid A. Ganai, IAS (Retd.) as Advisor to the Governor with effect from the date he assumes charge. The terms and conditions of his appointment shall be notified separately.”
