Srinagar, Jun 26: State Administrative Council (SAC) an alternative decision making body to the state cabinet is scheduled to meet under the chairmanship of Governor N N Vohra tomorrow to take call on several proposals related to transfers of top and middle rung officials of the state administration and some decisions for the welfare of the employees of various departments are also on cards.
Well placed sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that state administrative council is likely to be held under the chairmanship of Governor N N Vohra tomorrow and will be attended by two Advisors of Governor and Chief Secretary of the state.
The council is likely to take call on some proposals concerning transfers of several top and middle rung officials of the state administration and various under construction developmental projects which have taken a big hit during last few months.
The State Administrative Council is also likely to discuss a proposal for delinking of the salaries of SSA teachers to ensure disbursement of their salaries in time and extension of benefits of 7th pay commission recommendations to them.
A top government official on conditions of anonymity told KNS “Governor N N Vohra and Advisor to Governor B B Vyas are themselves concerned over the issue and the proposal on delinking salaries and extension of benefits of 7th pay commission recommendations likely to come up for discussion during the meeting.”
