DLRC meeting held in Ganderbal

Ganderbal: District Consultative Committee/District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting of District Ganderbal for the quarter March 2018 was convened under the chairmanship of Assistant Commissioner Revenue Ganderbal Nisar Ahmad Malik at Meeting Hall, Mini Secretariat Ganderbal here Monday.

The meeting was attended by R.L Karotania from Reserve Bank of India, Junaid Ahmad Hakeem (DDM NABARD), Malik Shabir Ahmad Cluster Head, J&K Bank Ganderbal, District officers/line departments and district coordinators of all banks operating in the district.

At the outset of the meeting, Lead District Manager, Reyaz Ahmad Shoga presented the overall achievements of the banks for the quarter ended March 2018 which stood at Rs 415.33 Crores of the total layout of 587.62 Crores of the District. Out of which the Priority sector achievement was Rs. 234.57 Crores and Non-priority was Rs. 180.76 Crores.

Also, the house deliberated on seeding of telephone numbers and Aadhar numbers in the accounts by Banks in a mission mode, financial inclusion plan, and financial inclusion fund for Point of Sale (PoS) terminals.

ACR Ganderbal stressed upon the banks and line agencies to work hard in the next half year so that targets will be achieved at the closure of the financial year.

He also stressed upon the concerned departments and financial institutions to work for overall development of the district with more dedication and sincerity.

R.L Karotania from Reserve Bank of India (RBI), stressed upon banks as well as sponsoring agencies to play the vital role to implement the approved Annual Credit Plan 2017-18 so that the people of area are benefited by the schemes, and poverty and unemployment is eradicated from the district.
