Srinagar/New Delhi,June 23: A report that appeared in national business daily “Economic Times” on Saturday said that government forces have released a list of 21 most-wanted militants who will be on top of their target list in Jammu and Kashmir.
The list also included the name of Islamic State Jammu Kashmir (ISJK) chief Dawood Sofi alias Salafi of HMT Srinagar who was killed along with three associates in Srigufwara area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday, sad the reports.
Report further reveals that the list has the names of 11 Hizb ul Mujahideen militants, seven from the Lashkar-e-Toiba, two from the Jaish-e-Mohammed and one from the Ansar Ghazwat ul-Hind.

Saifullah Mir (district commander in Pulwama), resident of Malangpur, Pulwama.
Zeenat-ul-Islam, resident of Sugan, Shopian; Category – A++.
Riyaz Ahmad Naikoo (chief operational commander, Kashmir), resident of Tokun, Pulwama; Category – A++.
Latif Ahmad Dar alias Haroon, resident of Dogirpur, Awantipur; Category – A.
Umar Fayaz Lone, resident of Tral, Awantipur; Category – A.
