Sack all nominated VCs of PSUs, autonomous bodies including Secy Sports Council: Akbar Lone tells Guv

Srinagar: Former Minister and National Conference MLA from Sonawari assembly constituency Mohammad Akbar Lone has urged the Governor N N Vohra to immediately sack all the political appointees of the outgoing PDP-BJP Government particularly Secretary Sports Council Waheed Para, Vice Chairman J&K Wakf Board Nizam-Ud-Din Bhat and Vice Chairpersons of all Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) and autonomous orgainsations.
Talking to Kashmir News Service Akbar Lone said Secretary Sports Council Waheed Para is intervening in the process of interviews conducted for several posts these days by sports council even after the fall of PDP-BJP Government which, he said, is against the set procedures, conventions and the constitution.
He called upon the governor to immediately sack Secretary Sports Council to ensure free and fair interviews by the officers tasked the job of interviews.
He also sought immediate sacking of Vice Chairman Wakf Board Nizam Ud Din Bhat keeping in view the importance of the Board and also the Vice Chairpersons of other autonomous bodies and public sector undertakings (PSUs)
