Jammu: Provincial President National Conference and MLA Nagrota Devender Singh Rana on Saturday greeted the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr at Sidhra, Ragoora, Kamini and Nagrota and wished them prosperity.
During the exchange of greetings, Rana said that such occasions help in fostering bonds of amity and brotherhood, which is essence of the pluralistic ethos of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Let this Eid be harbinger of peace, happiness and progress”, he said and hoped that the people will celebrate this festival in true spirit of togetherness.
Rana visited the constituency extensively and met cross section of people. Scenes of amity were witnessed with people exchanging greetings outside the mosques and praying for each others’ well being. Rana hoped this spirit will help in forging goodwill between various segments of society and inspire all to pursue the path of love and amity. (KNS)
