Sopore: An under trial militant sympathizer who had been arrested by police some two years ago disappeared from police custody on Tuesday.
A Police official said that a hunt has been launched to nab the fleeing inmate.
The incident took place when police station Bomai in the apple town were transporting Abdul Majeed Mir, 24, back to the police station soon after court hearing ended.
Mir is a resident of Tujjer village of Sopore.
Mir was arrested in 2016 and is an undertrial in a militancy related case.
