Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) Director General Police said “recruitment of militants has declined in recent days and ceasefire has brought respite to the people in Kashmir valley particularly south Kashmir districts. We will review the situation after few days and take some more measures for stability of peace and order in the state.”
Reacting to the killing of two policemen in a militant attack at court complex Pulwama Director General Police said “Some elements inimical to peace in the state are trying to derail the peace process. We will review the situation to ensure that attacks like the one at court complex Pulwama resulting in death of two policemen don’t reoccur.” (KNS)
