Anantnag: A weapon snatching bid was foiled by police after suspected militants attacked a policeman guarding PDP leader’s Kulgam residence in south Kashmir’s Wanpoh area.
Police sources said a scuffle between PSO of former PDP MLA Ab Gaffar Sofi and militants at Wanpooh Anantnag falling under police jurisdiction Kulgam. “No firing took place Militants tried to snatch his rifle but he did didn’t leave his weapon,” a police official said.
