Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on Wednesday said the militants were trying to sabotage the Ramadhan ceasefire announced by the central government.
She also said that the ceasefire was bringing relief to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Even as we see the ceasefire bringing great relief to the people of J&K, militants seem to be continuing their violent activities & desperately trying to sabotage the process. I only hope that they realize the futility of their actions soon,” she tweeted.
Mehbooba’s remarks came a night after the militants launched an attack on an army camp in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
