Dialogue and civilian killings can’t go together: Mirwaiz

Srinagar: Addressing a religious gathering at the revered shrine of Dastgeer Sahab Sarai Bala here, in connection with the Ashra-e-Najat ans the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Ali (RA) Mirwaiz said that Hazrat Ali spent his entire life for the cause of Allah and Islam and followed the footprints of beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW) till his martyrdom. Mirwaiz said that Hazrat Ali earned frame for being born in the house of Allah, the Khana-e-Kabba and he was also martyred in a masjid in Koofa.
Mirwaiz said that the Hazrat Ali (RA) will continue to be a role model for the Muslims till the Day of Judgment. He said Hazrat Ali (RA) fought for justice ans fairness with full might and didn’t surrender till his last breath which will be written with the golden words in the history of Islam.
Meanwhile, Mirwaiz said Kashmir issue was the basic reason for the rift between India and Pakistan ans that innocent lives will continue to go waste on both sides of the LoC unless serious measures are taken to address the core Dispute on Kashmir. Mirwaiz said that while ceasefire at the LOC aid a welcome step GoI must understand that delaying the resolution of Kashmir issue can at anytime aggravate the situation and raise tensions between the two countries.
He said on one hand, GoI is beating the drum of ceasefire and dialogue, on the other, young lives are being lost on a daily basis Paying tributes to youth martyred in Tanghdar sector of Kupwara, Mudasir Ahmed and Sheeraz Mirwaiz said that Kashmiri youth are spilling their red hot blood for the cause of freedom and self determination
Miwaiz said that leadership and the people of Kashmir are committed to take the ongoing mission of martyrs forward and its time to stay united and remain steadfast towards our goal. He said the best way to protect these sacrifices is follow the cause of freedom in unison. (KNS)
