Ganderbal: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ganderbal, Dr Piyush Singla Saturday kick-started supply of Ramadan Special additional sugar by providing one kg additional sugar to a consumer at Government Ration Sale Centre, Duderhamma Ganderbal.
The Assistant Director FCS&CA, Mir Ali and other concerned were present at the occasion.
The DDC on the occasion directed AD to ensure that one kg additional sugar is provided to every ration ticket holder belonging to AAY, PHH, and NPHH categories across the district.
DDC directed the concerned Tehsildar to monitor that every ration ticket holder gets one kg of additional sugar. He also urged upon the people to feel free to contact DC office or concerned Tehsildars office if there is any type of pilferage or complaint in the distribution.
