Srinagar: Cop who was wounded in a militant attack in South Kashmir has succumbed to his injuries.
Aqib Ahmed, a resident of Panzgam Pulwama was fired upon by militants at Puchal area of the district. He had received a couple of bullets in his leg as a result doctors had amputated his leg.
Reports said that Aqib succumbed in the hospital this evening.
Earlier, a purported video showing Adil seeking mercy from militants had gone viral. Militants as per the video had been accusing him of visiting Army camps to fetch liquor.
