Sopore: The first death anniversary of two Hizb militants killed last year on this day was observed in North Kashmir’s Sopore.
Two militants Ajaz Ahmad Mir, 23, alias Mudasir, resident of Shalipora, Brath Kalan, in Sopore, and Basharat Ahmad Sheikh, 19, resident of Malpora in Sopore were killed at Nathipora during a fierce gunfight with armed forces.
Large number of people visited the houses of these two slain militants and paid rich tributes.
One of the friends of slain militant Ajaz Ahmed Mir said that Mir was a genius, intellectual, and humane. “He was respected and loved in his village,” he said.
