Srinagar: Chairman, Legislative Council, Haji Anayat Ali called on the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here Friday.
Haji Anayat Ali specifically brought the issue of scarcity of irrigation facilities for famed Apricot plantation in the Chanigund, Hardass Gund, Thang and other adjoining areas of Kargil into the notice of the Chief Minister and sought taking remedial measures.
The Chief Minister assured the LC Chairman that the issue would be redressed on priority.
Meanwhile, Vice Chairman, Gujjar & Bakerwal Board, Gulzar Ahmad Khatana and Vice Chairman, Pahari Board, Kuldeep Raj Gupta also met the Chief Minister and discussed several issues pertaining to their boards with her.
