Anantnag: Regional Transport Officer Kashmir Khursheed Shah on Monday inaugurated online learner’s licence test lab at Anantnag.
When contacted the Regional Transport Officer Khursheed Ahmed Shah said after Baramulla and Budgam districts the Anantnag district is the third district to have the facility of online learner’s license test laboratory in Kashmir valley and these online learner’s test laboratories would be set up in other districts of the valley also in coming few days. He said facilities for online learner’s test would be made available at Khidmat centres across Kashmir also. He urged people to avail the online learner’s test facilities and approach him directly with regard to their complaints if any. Saying that there is absolutely no scope for any kind of corruption in today’s digital world the RTO Kashmir said the officials would now have a routine tenure of two years only in ARTO offices in Kashmir valley.
It is in place to mention here that Baramulla ARTO Office Sopore was the first ARTO office to get the facility of online learner’s test laboratory early this month when RTO Kashmir Khursheed Ahmed Shah inaugurated online learner’s test laboratory in presence of ARTO Baramulla Noor Ud Din Andrabi.
When contacted ARTO Baramulla Noor Ud Din Andrabi said ‘we have already started online licenses test services and now people are not coming to ARTO office for learner’ s tests after getting hassle free services at their homes’
After the inauguration of the online learner’s test laboratory the ARTO Anantnag, Qaiser Mallik said that with the inauguration of online learner’s test laboratory the public interface with the ARTO offices has been reduced to a greater extent and now people in Anantnag district have not to come for getting the learner’s test licenses without coming to ARTO office.
