SrinagarJammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Speaker, Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh, constituted various House Committees for the year 2018-19.
As per the notifications issued by the Assembly Secretariat, the General Purposes Committee has been constituted of which Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh shall be the Ex-officio chairman. Deputy Speaker, Ali Mohammad Sagar Chairman PAC, Choudhary Sukhnandan Kumar Chairman PUC, and Mohammad Yousuf Bhat Chairman Estimates Committee are its ex-officio members.
Mubarak Gul, Chandar Prakash Ganga, Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Shamim Firdous, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, and Noor Mohammad Sheikh are its members.
Besides, Library Committee has also been constituted of which Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh shall be the Ex-officio chairman. Legislators: M. Y. Tarigami, Davender Singh Rana, Javed Ahmad Rana, Ravinder Raina, Choudhary Mohammad Abaas Wani, Choudhary Mohammad Akram, Mumtaz Ahmad Khan, Usman Abdul Majeed, Dr. Krishan Lal and A. R. Rather are its members.
The Rules Committee was also constituted under the Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh as its Ex-officio chairman. Mian Altaf Ahmad, G.M. Saroori, Choudhary Sukhnandan, Altaf Ahmad Wani, Javed Hassan Baig, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah, Raja Manzoor Ahmad, and Bashir Ahmad Dar are its members.
Similarly, House Committee was constituted with Dr. Nirmal Kumar Singh as its Ex-officio chairman. Choudhary Lal Singh, Mohammad Akbar Lone, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Bali Bhagat, Abdul Majid Padder, Asgar Ali Karbalai, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Shah Mohammad Tantary, Pawan Kumar Gupta, and Neelam Kumar Langeh are its members.
While as Ethics Committee was constituted under the chairmanship of Pawan Kumar Gupta. Mohammad Shafi, Priya Sethi, Mohammad Amin Bhat, Abdul Majid Larmi, Deldan Namgail, Daleep Singh, Abdul Rashid Dar, Kamal Verma, Dr. Gagan Bhagat, and Rajesh Gupta are its members.
Whereas, Committee on Subordinate Legislation was constituted under the chairmanship of legislator Raja Manzoor Ahmad. Javid Ahmad Rana, Vikar Rasool Wani, Er. Abdul Rashid, Gulzar Ahmad Wani, Neelam Kumar Langeh, Choudhary Qamar Hussain, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar and Kuldeep Raj are its members.
